What if witches came to our rescue!

A witch is not a new name to Kenyans, at least we have hit headlines severally with varying news on them. From politicians seeking their (witches) help to triumphing in politics to villagers executing their anger and burning them to death blaming them for failures and misfortunes in areas they hail from.

I am not sure if Kenyans would rally behind me in efforts to reach out to the witches seeking their help in getting the country back to order and punishing the errant politicians, who in most cases consult them when they want to pull masses to their side but for sure we need them.

Many will agree with me that the country is not at its best due to bickering among our politicians who are working round the clock to disintegrate the country.

The idea is not so professional but we are in need of help, with Kofi Annan warning on ICC not doing any magic we seriously need some quick intervention.

It is only in Kenya where a government takes a retreat which is catered for by taxpayers without any vital agenda on the country’s development and takes the ample and paid for time to exchange words and walk out of meetings proving how hard they are hard to work with each other yet they are in the same government.

It’s only on the same land where a president stoops too low and picks a fight with a minister who himself has appointed and creates a battle field over critical issues and also convenes a press conference to announce how faithful he is to his only wife.

The witches endeavor might be too risky since we would leave our otherwise peaceful country at the hands of questionable characters but we can afford to risk given the times we are going through and mark my words, witches are capable they took our president the other day in circles mid air when he paid their ‘territory’ a courtesy call, who knows maybe they were sending a message to him and his lieutenants. We also need to get Harambee stars to the World Cup next year, they could come in handy also...it’s just an idea anyway.

That was a good one but if it will be exciting that gives us more morale to consult them.

I have always wondered why the accusers did not realize that witches could use magic to escape punishment, so the accused must not be witches.

In those parts of the world where learning and science have prevailed, miracles have ceased; but in those parts of it as are barbarous and ignorant, miracles are still in vogue.

And people say that religion is harmless. Fostering superstitious dogma merely provides a convenient excuse to execute old men and women.

I've heard other stories from Africa, were self-professed witches or witch doctors create good luck charms using human body parts taken from live children. The intention being to inflict the most amount of pain on the most innocent of victims, to conjure up the strongest mojo.

Maybe it's time to build some schools in Africa. Africa has been exploited for its natural resources for centuries. Yet, they have very little to show for it. This type of barbaric behavior shouldn't exist anymore.

Samuel its not all about building schools and what have you because its easy to get a villager out of the village but getting the village out of the villager is hard. Even the most learned people in the land would run to the witches for help due to desperation its all about evil beliefs and confusion and no wonder the suspected witches are being burnt for devilish acts that are not acceptable.
